Job Description Key Responsibilities Knowledge of Production Planning Methodologies: Proficiency in methodologies such as Just in Time (JIT), Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning). Data Analysis: Analyze historical data, market trends, and inventory levels to generate accurate demand forecasts. Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve production efficiency. Planning and Organization: Skill in creating and maintaining effective production plans, prioritizing tasks, and adjusting deadlines as needed. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and reduce excess or obsolete items. Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams for seamless inventory flow. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify process inefficiencies and drive initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Support system upgrades or transitions to improve planning accuracy. Qualifications Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related role. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows. Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication skills in Spanish and English (intermediate to advanced). Competencies: Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges. Innovative thinker with the ability to improve planning processes.
