Description

The Service Planning Analyst plays a key role in helping shape the future of services at the City of Casey. Working across a range of strategic service planning and review projects, you'll gather, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources, turning complex information into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You will support the development of Strategic Service Plans, service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives through research, benchmarking, stakeholder engagement and evidence-based analysis.

More than a data analyst, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders across the organisation, helping them understand the story behind the numbers and supporting the delivery of key messages to stakeholders and senior decision makers. Your work will contribute to reports, presentations and recommendations that influence service planning across one of Victoria's fastest growing municipalities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team with strong succession opportunities, broad organisational exposure and the chance to make a genuine contribution from day one.

What You’ll deliver

  • Turn complex data into clear, meaningful reports, presentations and recommendations for leaders and stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver research, benchmarking and analysis activities for Strategic Service Plans, service reviews and improvement initiatives.
  • Collect, validate and analyse community, customer, operational, performance and industry data to identify trends, opportunities and emerging issues.
  • Partner with managers and stakeholders across the organisation to support the communication of key findings and recommendations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, workshops, interviews and consultation processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service planning methodologies, frameworks, tools and practices.
  • Build productive relationships across Council and external organisations to gather insights and support project outcomes
