Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

As the Planning Analytics Manager for our Global Supply Chain Planning team, you will serve as the insight engine of our global planning function. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that combines strategic leadership with technical depth. You will transform raw data into business-critical insights, build scalable tools and dashboards, and empower teams to plan with clarity, confidence, and precision.
This is not a back-office analytics position—you’ll be at the heart of our global planning ecosystem, influencing decisions, coaching teams, and shaping the culture. You’ll be a trusted voice in executive forums, a mentor to analysts and planners, and a key driver of our data-driven transformation.
Your leadership will elevate the analytical capabilities of our planning function—from tactical problem-solving to strategic foresight.

LET’S TALK ABOUT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Insight Leadership & Strategic Influence
  • Lead analytical projects that identify performance trends, uncover root causes, and support supply, demand, and inventory planning decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to planning leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, embedding insights into all levels of decision-making.
  • Shape and communicate our planning performance narrative—translating complex data into compelling insights for senior leadership.
  1. People Leadership & Capability Building
  • Coach and mentor analysts and planners across the global planning function to build confidence in data interpretation, dashboard usage, and performance storytelling.
  • Elevate the analytical maturity of planning teams—fostering a mindset of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Support the development of training, tools, and resources that embed analytics into daily planning workflows.
  1. Dashboarding & Performance Visibility
  • Design and maintain intuitive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into critical planning KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels).
  • Lead the governance of planning metrics, ensuring consistency, data integrity, and clarity.
  • Collaborate with BI and digital teams to continuously improve data pipelines and visualizations.
  1. Advanced Modelling & Simulation
  • Build advanced models to support long-term forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Simulate supply chain scenarios to evaluate trade-offs and guide proactive decisions.
  • Champion automation of repeatable analytics to create capacity for strategic analysis.
  1. Transformation & Enablement
  • Embed analytics into supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the voice of insight during system implementations (e.g., o9) and process redesigns.
  • Drive data readiness, business alignment, and user adoption of new tools and workflows.

  • Communication & Influence: Communicates effectively across all levels—from analysts to executives. Uses storytelling to build alignment.
  • Analytical Leadership: Leads cross-functional projects with structure, impact, and measurable results.
  • Digital Enablement: Builds dashboards, visualizations, and models that are scalable, user-friendly, and effective.
  • Governance & Integrity: Ensures reporting processes are consistent, accurate, and trusted globally.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:

  • Planning teams confidently use data to drive consistent and effective decisions.
  • Insights influence strategies and deliver measurable improvements in service, cost, and inventory performance.
  • Dashboards are trusted, widely adopted, and integral to planning processes.
  • Manual reporting is reduced; speed and relevance of actionable insights are increased.

If you are passionate about transforming data into action and leading with impact, this is your opportunity to shape the future of planning at a global level!
