Responsibilities

This is a 12-month, limited tenure role. Working with the Planning and Development Manager, the Planning and Permits Officer is responsible for the services and outcomes that contribute to the delivery of the City of Palmerston Community Plan, including:

  • Permits and approvals for works by others
  • Driveway and stormwater connection assessment and approvals
  • Contractor coordination
  • Planning and development support, including documentation review, administration, inspections
  • Road safety and traffic management
