STS Packaging, a Schwarz Partners, L.P. Joint Venture company, is currently seeking a Planning and Production Coordinator in Charlotte, NC. The Production and Planning Coordinator is responsible for the production schedule and inventory control for a large manufacturing plant. Role includes data entry, analyzing historical data and customer needs to create production orders, assisting management and employees. This position will also verify inventory accuracy, ensure transactions are accurate, physical and virtual verification of finished goods and raw materials. Communicates issues and waste performance through work order completion. This position is located at 1201 Westinghouse Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

• High School degree or GED
• Experience working as a planning and production coordinator in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel skills/knowledge

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

• College Education
• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Continuous process improvement
• Data analysis and reporting

REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)

• Team-oriented mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft office; moderate level in Excel; can create PowerPoint Slides.
• Ability to type at reasonable speed.
• ERP experience
• Possess a high degree of accuracy.
• Possess a high degree of analytical skill
• Exhibit critical thinking skills; problem solving skills and models professional behavior.
• Work in accordance with all company policies and procedures

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluent in English required
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
