JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for analysing planning requirements, creating bespoke strategies, and navigating the complexities of the planning process on behalf of our clients. You will communicate with clients, provide planning advice, and offer consulting services to ensure successful planning permission.
We are seeking a permanent addition to our team but are happy to consider part-time or flexible hours, to suit the right candidate.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in data analysis skills for effective decision-making.
  • Strong report writing skills to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members.
  • A keen eye for detail.
    The role requires a Chartered RTPI Town Planner accreditation (or working towards) and experience working either in private consultancy or as a Local Authority Planning Officer.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, or similar
  • 1+ years professional experience.
  • RTPI Chartered Membership (or working towards)

    Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
