Job Description Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline, recovery, and revised programs) using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software, ensuring compliance with RTA specifications and standard work breakdown structures. Monitor project progress against approved baselines, identify delays and critical path impacts, and perform schedule risk analysis and time impact analysis in accordance with contract requirements. Coordinate planning activities in line with RTA approval procedures, including interim milestones, traffic staging, sectional handover requirements, and integration of authority approvals (NOCs, permits, traffic diversion approvals). Review and assess contractors' programs, planning submissions, and method statements against RTA contractual milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and phasing requirements. Prepare master schedules, look-ahead programs, and weekly/monthly progress reports in coordination with project teams and stakeholders. Prepare and evaluate Extension of Time (EOT) claims, substantiating delays with proper planning narratives and supporting evidence. Coordinate with construction, procurement, design, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between schedule, resources, and deliverables. Develop recovery and mitigation plans to address delayed activities and bring projects back on track. Track procurement, long-lead items, approvals, and permits to ensure schedule compliance and identify potential bottlenecks. Conduct weekly and monthly planning meetings with stakeholders, issue meeting minutes, and provide planning inputs to support Project Manager decision-making. Maintain comprehensive planning documentation and ensure compliance with project controls and QA/QC procedures. Support project close-out by preparing as-built programs and final planning reports. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum of 7 -12 years of experience in planning engineering Professional Engineering (PE) certification Additional Information Proficiency in planning software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in transportation projects is preferred Understanding of planning frameworks and collaboration processes Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Dubai Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Mandatory expereince of minimum 3 -5 years in UAE is preferred to apply for this role About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
