Exciting Opportunity for Planning Engineer Are you an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in project planning and scheduling? We are looking for a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules, ensuring successful project execution in line with company procedures, client requirements, and project objectives. This role is critical in driving project performance by identifying risks, monitoring progress, and implementing effective planning strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement project scheduling processes in accordance with project scope, client requirements, and company procedures. • Prepare and maintain master project schedules, identifying key milestones to achieve project completion targets. • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)-based schedules, allocating labour, equipment, and costs to project activities. • Coordinate with project teams to review and obtain approval for project schedules. • Establish regular schedule update cycles to ensure accurate and timely project reporting. • Monitor project progress and assess actual performance against planned schedules. • Record, evaluate, and communicate the impact of project schedule changes. • Analyse schedule trends, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays. • Revise project plans and schedules through re-planning and re-baselining when required. • Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and planning documentation for management and clients. • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment between project schedules and execution activities. • Ensure compliance with company project management guidelines, procedures, and client requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project delivery. Requirements: • Education: Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in an Engineering discipline. • Certification: PMP Certification is preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within EPC, fabrication, marine, construction, or oil & gas industries. • Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of project planning principles, scheduling methodologies, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource planning, progress monitoring, and risk analysis. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Languages: Fluency in English is required. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office, and ERP software.
