OB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer with expertise in fit-out projects and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring that all interior fit-out works are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with the project plan.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of planning experience, with a focus on fit-out or interior projects.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of fit-out construction processes, including MEP, joinery, finishes, and design coordination.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and work culture is an advantage.

    Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for commercial, retail, and residential fit-out projects.
  • Monitor and track progress against the baseline schedule; update and revise as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting delays, critical paths, and mitigation plans.
  • Conduct time impact analysis for variations and changes in scope.
  • Support the procurement team by linking material delivery timelines to the project schedule.
  • Ensure all project planning and scheduling documents comply with contractual and company standards.
  • Identify potential risks and delays and propose corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with cost control and QS teams to align time and cost data for earned value analysis.
  • Attend client and consultant meetings to present schedules, updates, and progress reports.
