For more information, visit: https://waagnerbiro-bridgeservices.com Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Jr. Planning Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting project planning and scheduling activities for our Construction Bridge projects (Concrete Bridge). Preparing, developing and maintaining project schedules using specialized primavera P6 software Preparing Extension of Time in several techniques. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather and analyze project data Help create and update project timelines, Gantt charts, and other planning documents Support resource allocation and optimization efforts for ongoing projects Participate in progress meetings and contribute to project status reports Assist in identifying potential scheduling conflicts and proposing solutions Help monitor project milestones and deadlines to ensure timely completion Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 5-8 years of experience in planning or engineering roles; internship or entry-level experience in construction or engineering projects is acceptable Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 ,ETC Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Familiarity with construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards Understanding of project scheduling techniques and resource allocation principles Basic knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
