Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules to ensure successful project execution and timely completion. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate project information and requirements Analyze project data to identify potential risks, conflicts, and opportunities for optimization Prepare and present regular progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and other relevant metrics Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, identifying and reporting any deviations Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization Develop and implement strategies to mitigate delays and keep projects on track Assist in the preparation of project proposals, work breakdown structures, and cost estimates Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, incorporating changes as necessary Support the project team in risk assessment and contingency planning Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and contractual obligations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, in the construction or infrastructure sector Valid membership with the Kuwait Society Engineers (KSE) Proficiency in project management software, including Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining complex project schedules In-depth knowledge of project management principles and best practices Familiarity with construction industry standards, methodologies, and terminology Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise effectively with various stakeholders Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies Adaptability and resilience in handling changing project requirements and priorities Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Project Management Profession: Contract management
