Job Description We are seeking a Planning Engineer to be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely project delivery. The role involves coordinating with project teams, tracking progress, analyzing schedule performance, and identifying potential delays. Key Responsibilities: Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Monitor progress and analyze critical path activities. Prepare progress reports, look-ahead plans, and schedule updates. Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate planning activities with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Review contractor schedules and support project controls activities. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling techniques. Knowledge of CPM scheduling, progress measurement, and project controls. Strong analytical and communication skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum 5 years of professional experience in planning engineering. Demonstrated expertise in master planning, strategic planning, and feasibility studies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex scenarios and recommend data-driven solutions Proficiency in technical report writing and the ability to create clear, compelling presentations for diverse audiences Solid understanding of project management principles, resource allocation, and budget management Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and risk assessment methodologies Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Architecture Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Architecture
