Roles & Responsibilities

• The Senior Planning Engineer in association with the resident engineer shall develop the Project execution plan considering the proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for the Project.
• He will set targets foractivities based on each project activity and ensure it meets DM’s specifications and requirements.
• Planning engineers shall estimate timescales and costs using specialized design software packages (Primavera).
• One of the major Planning Engineer's roles is to monitor “day-to-day” work progress for the Project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages.
• Tracking and analyzing field results is another key responsibility.
• Planning engineers continually compare planned and actual progress and report any differences to their lead project manager. He also studies the impact of alternative approaches.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Certifications in Primavera Software package.
• Experience in Dubai Municipality infrastructure projects is an advantage.
