POSITION SUMMARY :

Mercy Care is seeking a Strategic Planning Intern to support the strategic planning process and initiatives within our organization. This position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in data analysis and project management, contributing to key strategic decisions and operational improvements in support of our mission to serve the most vulnerable. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare strategies, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to learn how to manage cross-functional projects. You will work closely with team members, including executive leadership, clinical leaders, and operational teams, to assess programs, evaluate strategic opportunities, and contribute to high-impact initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Health Administration, Public Health, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in healthcare strategy and project management
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities; familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities
