Job Expectations A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Planning Manager – SEO Strategy & Implementation, reporting to the Executive Manager, Strategic Programs where you will join the SEO Strategy & Implementation team. A bit about your role As the Senior Planning Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to nbn’s strategic delivery capability. This role supports the successful execution of programs and projects by providing strategic, operational, and workforce management expertise. You’ll be responsible for planning and managing initiatives that align with nbn’s strategic workforce objectives, establishing governance frameworks, and identifying and mitigating risks. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment, provide strategic advice, and drive engagement. In addition, you’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of delivery frameworks, and support the SEO team’s broader transformation. A bit about you You will have strong experience in program management, particularly in coordinating complex, cross-functional virtual teams within technology-dependent enterprises. A deep understanding of project concepts, tools, and extensive experience in managing large business projects. Key skills include change management, product development, and proficiency with project management principles. The role also requires strong stakeholder management across all levels, along with the ability to manage priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective program delivery. Additionally, it involves contract and supplier management, analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a process-driven approach to delivery and collaboration, with knowledge of methodologies like Lean Six Sigma. The ability to excel in dynamic environments and proactively solve problems is essential. Any certifications in Project management are beneficial.
