WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Reporting to the Logistics & Transportation Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the seamless movement of aircraft parts and materials across our network. You’ll build strong relationships with transport partners and suppliers, manage consignments from planning to delivery, and optimise routes, costs, and lead times. You’ll also take the lead on monitoring shipments, resolving incidents, and identifying efficiency opportunities. With responsibilities ranging from preparing accurate consignment paperwork and ensuring customs compliance, to acting as the Subject Matter Expert for Dangerous Goods, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our operations moving safely and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to process improvements, support urgent operational needs, and help shape the future of our logistics strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE ROLE:
We’re looking for an experienced logistics professional with at least five years’ expertise in airfreight forwarding and operations, with a strong grasp of alternative solutions such as OBC, charter, and FAF. You’ll be confident in recommending airline solutions to support our US, EU, and Asia import/export flows, and have proven experience in establishing new airfreight lanes and processes with the correct incoterms, customs arrangements, and partner networks. A solid understanding of European road freight is desirable, and experience within aviation, airline, or aerospace logistics would be an advantage. Ideally, you’ll hold a current IATA Dangerous Goods certification (or have undertaken the training previously) and bring strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
