This is a unique opportunity to shape a new function, define ways of working, and have a significant impact from day one. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for project planning, scheduling, and project control activities across a portfolio of projects. You will build and lead the project controls capability, ensure robust standards and methodologies, and act as a key partner to project stakeholders. The position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on involvement, covering the full project lifecycle—from early planning and execution through commissioning and project close‑out. As a manager, you will play a central role in driving predictability, performance, and continuous improvement across the project portfolio. This role is well suited for a leader who enjoys building structure, guiding teams, and working cross‑functionally in a dynamic, growing organization. How you’ll make an impact: Establish and lead the project controls and planning capability within Global Center of Competence for Power Quality, setting standards, structure, and clear ways of working across the project portfolio. Drive robust project planning, scheduling, and performance tracking, ensuring predictable delivery, early risk identification, and timely corrective actions. Act as a key partner to project teams, supporting decision‑making related to scope, cost, schedule, and resource planning. Build and maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring plans are realistic, aligned, and executable. Lead and develop the project controls team, strengthening competencies, ownership, and continuous improvement through coaching and clear accountability. Ensure projects follow governance, contract compliance, and close‑out practices, while capturing lessons learned to continuously improve future project execution. Your background: A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, with solid understanding of project execution in complex engineering environments. Several years of experience within project controls, planning, scheduling, or project management, preferably in engineering, industrial, or large‑scale project organizations. Proven experience in leading teams or functions, with the ability to build structure, set direction, and develop people in a performance‑driven environment. Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, performance tracking, and governance, including cost, schedule, risk, and resource management. Experience working in cross‑functional and international settings, collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and senior stakeholders. A structured, proactive, and communicative leadership style, with the ability to drive continuous improvement, challenge ways of working, and create clarity in complex situations.
