About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Planning Manager to support their maintenance activities.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their maintenance operations. With a brand-new hangar and the maintenance side of the business entering a period of rapid growth, this is a rare opportunity to build a planning department from scratch.
You’ll be at the forefront of designing processes, implementing systems, and creating a high-performing planning function that supports world-class maintenance delivery. Working with a global leader in Aircraft Maintenance, Storage, and Disassembly, you’ll help ensure efficiency, reliability, and value at every stage for major lessors and airlines worldwide. it’s a chance to leave your mark, leading the charge in developing a planning department that will underpin the company’s next phase of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to administer all aspects of Aircraft Planning related to part 145 as specified under main responsibilities

Other duties involve:

  • Development of procedures to support a fast-growing Part 145 MRO.
  • Chair aircraft pre-input meetings
  • Review incoming work scopes proposals in collaboration with Sales
  • Plan all accepted work packages
  • Collaborate with logistics and production to ensure smooth aircraft input and efficient TAT.
  • Manage all communications with CAMO`s regarding work packages.
  • Management of technical records
  • Management of technical publications

Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years airline or MRO industry experience in maintenance planning (3rd party MRO experience advantageous)
  • Managerial experience, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
  • In depth knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 legislation
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results.
  • Positive approach towards identifying problems and solutions
  • Well organised person capable of coordinating complex and dynamic projects
