Job Description: Parsons is seeking a Planning Manager to lead project scheduling, coordination, and progress monitoring for a major airport infrastructure development. The role involves overseeing the creation of detailed work plans, resource allocation, risk analysis, and schedule reporting across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling large-scale civil or airport projects. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop comprehensive project schedules and resource plans for all civil, MEP, and utility works. Define milestones, critical paths, and dependencies to ensure timely project delivery. Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with construction, design, and management teams to align project activities. Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Manage interfaces between multiple contractors and subcontractors. Conduct schedule risk analysis and mitigation planning. Advise on construction sequence optimization and critical path management. Review and approve contractor schedule submissions and updates. What Required Skills You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 15 years in planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably airports. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and scheduling/reporting software. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource leveling, and earned value management. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Professional certifications such as PSP or PMP. Experience with airport operations and ORAT planning. Familiarity with BIM 4D scheduling and integrated project delivery systems.
