PLANNING OFFICER

Council is seeking to appoint a maximum term full time Planning Officer to contribute to Council’s success.

This position is a maximum term opportunity for parental leave coverage with a projected end date of May 2025.

• Monday to Friday
• Located in Gladstone
• Be part of an experienced and dynamic planning team

THE COMMENCEMENT SALARY WILL DEPEND ON THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT’S QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES, GRADUATE PROGRESSION MAY APPLY.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by undertaking the assessment of development applications in accordance with statutory requirements to deliver strategic planning outcomes which reflect the interests of Council and expectations of the community.
