Where You’ll Make a Difference Every Day You’ll provide assistance and support in the analysis of present work methods, procedures and systems regarding construction, maintenance, and operations; recommend improved systems and carry out follow-up procedures for the division. You’ll be responsible for developing and aiding the implementation and supervision of technical projects, preparing technical reports and specifications, and assisting of new programs. How You’ll Support the Team In this role, you will: In consultation with the Superintendent, assists and supports the analysis of present work methods, procedures and systems regarding construction, maintenance, and operations; recommends improved systems and carries out follow-up procedures for the Division. Participates in the preparation of plans, specifications and contract documents and prepares estimates for projects. Prepares and assembles data required for the Section’s operating and capital budget presentation; co-ordinates and prepares the analysis of actual results to budget and recommends corrective actions. Participates in hiring, training and evaluation of staff and recommends corrective actions, where necessary. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive and labour relations material used within the Division. Prepares and updates the Division’s Quality Control Standards. Provides specialized job assistance on technical operational projects and supervises contract/support staff. Prepares and maintains various types of maps and drawings.
