The Planning & Strategic Growth Group are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team as a Planning Support Officer.
We have recently reviewed and remodelled our structure and the role of a Planning Support Officer for the successful candidate is an exciting role that will begin your Planning journey at Blaby District Council. It is a wide ranging and rewarding role that underpins our all of our service areas.
As such you’ll be actively dealing with customer enquiries regarding planning applications, local plan queries and planning enforcement to name a few putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
We want to hear from you if you are seeking your first step on the planning ladder and if you are excited about ensuring excellent customer services.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated and must work well in a team, be organised and able to prioritise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide high levels of customer service.
