Description
Project Scheduling & Planning Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Establish baseline schedules and ensure alignment with project objectives. Perform critical path analysis and identify potential delays. Progress Monitoring & Reporting Track project progress against the baseline and prepare weekly/monthly reports. Generate dashboards and KPIs for management and client review. Highlight variances and propose corrective actions. Resource & Cost Integration Coordinate resource allocation and productivity tracking. Integrate planning with cost control for accurate forecasting. Risk Management Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support claims and extension of time (EOT) analysis. Coordination & Communication Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate planning data. Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor planning engineers. Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices. Tools & Systems Maintain proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems (Oracle). Ensure proper documentation and version control of schedules. Project Planning & Scheduling Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project planning within EPC or construction projects. Proven expertise in developing and managing baseline schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project. Strong understanding of critical path analysis, resource loading, and schedule risk assessment. Cost & Resource Management Experience in cost control integration with planning activities. Ability to manage resource allocation, productivity tracking, and manpower forecasting. Contractual & Commercial Awareness Familiarity with contract terms, variation orders, and claims related to schedule delays. Coordination with contracts and procurement teams for planning deliverables. Reporting & Communication Skilled in preparing progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and clients. Strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination and client presentations. Technical Knowledge Understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction workflows. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate planning. Leadership & Team Management Experience in leading planning teams, mentoring junior planners, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Software & Tools Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Power Bi and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle). Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
