Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards; * Assist with the month-end process, complete management reporting and analysis, including monthly financials, KPIs, project reporting, and other ad-hoc financial analysis as required. * Responsible for product costing, inventory valuation and preparation of production and month-end reports. Analyst will also assist in COGS variance analysis as well as investigation of Inventory variances. * Assist in preparing the financial records for the annual audit. * Assist in preparing forecast * Responsible for the recording, accounting, reporting and timely capitalization of capital projects * Responsible for completeness and accuracy of fixed assets sub-ledger and month-end closing activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments * Perform monthly reconciliation of Inventory accounts and ensure that any variance between recorded inventory and physical count is researched and resolved * Facilitate monthly/Annual Inventory count * Ad Hoc duties as required Education & Experience * Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent; * Certified Public Accountant (preferred) * At least 3-year work experience in related field is required; * Oracle and ERP experience a plus * Highly proficient in MS Office applications * A strong background in Inventory Management and Costing is an advantage * The ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment * Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a variety of individuals * A team mindset and the drive to participate in achieving the entity's goals and objectives * Experience with a manufacturing environment Working Conditions * This role is 100% onsite Culture Commitment Ensure adherence to company’s values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.: Integrity – Create an Environment of Trust Collaboration – Innovate Through the Sharing of Ideas Accountability – Own the Process and the Outcome Respect – Recognize the Value in Everyone Enthusiasm – Find a Sense of Purpose in Work Coherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
