POSITION OVERVIEW

The Plant Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations within the manufacturing plant, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. This role aims to enhance the financial performance of the plant through effective budgeting, cost analysis, and performance monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a food and beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system (Oracle NetSuite highly desirable or comparable experience)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Experience with cost analysis and variance analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in SAP, ERP Systems, and Oracle Netsuite.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with plant staff.
  • Understanding of inventory management and its impact on financial reporting.
  • Experience in the Dairy or Food and Beverage manufacturing industries is a plus.
