JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Plant Accountant / Supervisor with tremendous potential to grow and assume additional responsibility. In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions of a stand-alone unit, including financial reporting, costing, budgeting, A/R, A/P, month-end and year-end closing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s’ or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CA, or CMA designation preferred.
  2. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
  6. High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

SALARY WILL BE BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting:
    · Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    · Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    · Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage unit budgets.
  3. Internal Controls:
    · Work closely with the controller to establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  4. Financial Systems and Processes:
    · Streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    · Implement best practices for financial data management and reporting.
