The Company currently has annual revenues exceeding $150 million with five manufacturing locations (four in USA: New York, Tennessee and Ohio and two in Mexico: Chihuahua and Queretaro), a sales and engineering office in Michigan and a Tool Shop and Company headquarters located in Rochester, New York. Significant accounting concepts include, consolidation and combination, foreign currency translation with off balance sheet risk, cost accounting, percentage of completion accounting, property, plant & equipment, accounting for franchise and income taxes, among others.

Our plant is a critical component of this transformation, and we are seeking a skilled and dynamic Plant Controller to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Plant Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the successful execution of our plant’s transformation strategy. This role is a new role that requires a forward-thinking individual with a strong background in manufacturing finance and a keen ability to adapt to change. The Plant Controller will work closely with plant management and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive cost control, and support strategic initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
• Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial management role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting processes.
• Experience in managing financial aspects of significant organizational changes or transformations.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
