About the role The Plant Controller acts as a key Finance Business Partner, bridging plant operations with the broader business strategy. This role goes beyond traditional financial reporting, providing actionable insights, influencing decisions, and ensuring alignment between production performance and financial outcomes. Key responsibilities Lead financial analysis and reporting for the plant, including cost control, forecasting, and performance tracking. Translate operational metrics into financial insights that support strategic decision-making. Actively participate in planning cycles (e.g., S&OP), providing financial perspective on capacity, revenue, and demand scenarios. Serve as a strategic challenger to plant leadership by questioning assumptions and driving data-based decisions. Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve plant efficiency, cost optimization, and overall financial performance.Convert financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. High exposure to business and operational decision-making. Direct interaction with senior leadership. Opportunity to influence both operational and commercial outcomes. Broad visibility across the full value chain (Operations + Commercial + Finance.) Qualifications and skills Proven experience as a Plant Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
