Our factory in York, PA produces modular panel assemblies that bring manufacturing discipline, speed, and predictability to construction. \n \n $110,000 - $135,000 a year Role Overview The Plant Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for end-to-end cost control across Vessel’s manufacturing and construction operations. This role blends traditional plant controllership with construction project financial management, ensuring cost integrity from factory floor to completed building. This is a hands-on role for a builder—someone who thrives under pressure, embraces ambiguity, and knows how to create structure while the business is moving fast. \n Vessel is a high-growth startup. Systems and processes are fledgling, and base data quality is still evolving. There is pressure to deliver results while simultaneously building scalable infrastructure. This role is ideal for leaders who can operate effectively with imperfect data and create financial rigor without slowing innovation. Key Responsibilities •Manufacturing Plant Controllership -Own standard cost accounting for modular manufacturing -Maintain BOMs, routings, labor standards, and overhead rates -Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances -Partner with plant leadership on efficiency and cost accuracy -Oversee inventory, WIP, and manufacturing close processes •NetSuite MRP & Systems Leadership -Lead financial design and rollout of NetSuite MRP -Govern standard costing configuration -Drive incremental improvements to master data quality -Deliver reporting and dashboards for decision-making Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field •8–12+ years in manufacturing cost accounting and/finance •Deep experience with standard costing and variance analysis •ERP implementation experience (NetSuite preferred) •Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments What’s In It For You •A once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine housing •Ownership of cost and margin in a national growth platform •High visibility with executive leadership •Mission-driven, innovative team •Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunity
