Description

We are looking for a Plant Area Manager to join our team as part of our recently acquired garden centre. The garden centre is currently being refurbished with lots of exciting developments happening and we are looking for someone enthusiastic and able to work as a part of a team. The successful candidate will have a passion for horticulture, help build, lead and motivate their new team of plant area assistants who demonstrate a passion to exceed our customer’s expectations and a commitment to exceptional standards

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ordering of products as per seasonal requirements and liaising with suppliers and other branches of the garden centre.
  • Responsible for merchandising to maximise sales opportunities, promoting stock in key areas as and when required
  • Responsible for stock management within the plant area.
  • Working as part of the wider team and carrying out duty manager responsibilities
  • Lead and always promote the highest standards of customer care and service.

As a candidate you should have a strong understanding of horticulture and know about gardening and have a good knowledge of plants. Previous experience in a similar role would be very beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
