Description Industrial Electrician Rosemount, MN | Full-Time Heavy Industrial. High Voltage. Real Plant Work. If you are the electrician people call when the PLC stops communicating, the motor trips, or the MCC will not reset, this is your kind of role. EGA Spectro Alloys is a high-volume aluminum recycling and secondary foundry operation in Rosemount, MN. This is not light manufacturing. This is heavy industrial electrical maintenance supporting furnaces, high-horsepower motors, automation, and continuous production equipment. If you are a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or a licensed Journeyman with solid industrial experience and want steady plant-based work with no job site travel, we want to talk. (Licensed) Starting at $38 per hour and up based on experience and license level. What You’ll Do You will keep critical plant systems running safely and reliably. Your work directly supports uptime, safety, and production efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair 120/240V, 277/480V, and 4160V systems Maintain and repair motors up to 1250 HP Work on motor control centers, transformers, and power panels Diagnose and support Allen Bradley PLC systems including PLC-5, SLC 500, ControlLogix, and CompactLogix Work with HMI systems such as PanelView, SCADA, Wonderware, and related platforms Support furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, and heavy production equipment Perform preventative and corrective maintenance Run rigid conduit and pull wire as needed Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures This is a hands-on industrial role. You will work around heat, noise, and heavy machinery. We provide uniforms, PPE and prioritize safety across the facility. Who We’re Looking For You are mechanically and electrically strong, steady under pressure, and comfortable troubleshooting independently in a heavy industrial setting.
