  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess High pressure equipment related cert (advantage)Self-disciplined, meticulous and resourceful
  • Min of 5 years of relevant working experience (diploma)
  • Degree (min 3 years relevant working experience)
  • Intermediate MS Office
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good Written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation skills to share and brief co-workers and management with clarity.
  • Riche experience in different kind of motorized equipment service, troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge in Mechanical related, e.g. material, application and etc.
  • Able to read P&ID drawing.
  • AutoCAD Drawing Skill required
  • Able to carry out hands-on work.
  • Have leadership and supervision skills to guide and coach team member

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Plant Engineer is to ensure the new equipment installation and process modifications to be carried out per requirements. They are also responsible to uphold equipment application safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance. By developing and implementing safety protocols, conduct regular audits and inspections, and train personnel on equipment maintenance and service safety practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take charge of new equipment installations, process modifications, supporting equipment PM and trouble shooting
  • Responsible for workplace safety and health activities in Process development section programs.
  • Lead and manage ECR reduction and closure
  • Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the desired specifications
  • USP Engineering Standards creation
