Description

A high-volume manufacturing facility producing industrial products is seeking a Senior Plant Financial Analyst to support all site-based financial functions. This facility operates extensive automated and production equipment, supported by a workforce of approximately 800 full-time employees. The environment is fast-paced, with significant output and inventory movement, requiring strong financial oversight and reporting accuracy.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field
  • 3–5 years of relevant financial experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong technical understanding of business finance and analytics
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support across all operational functions including purchasing, receiving, production, shipping, and inventory control
  • Ensure the accuracy of P&L and balance sheet accounts through routine validation
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting of operating expenses and capital expenditures to support resource planning
  • Support and provide backup for payroll and general financial operations
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to open receipts and invoicing
  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Safeguard company assets through cycle counting, physical inventory audits, and fixed asset tracking
