Based at our HQ in Galley Common, Nuneaton, will be required to maintain and repair all equipment within our fleet. From time to time, you may also be required to provide technical support at our Operational sites. Your duties will include ensuring all equipment is in good working order whilst maintaining HSE and quality standards.
Working in a small team, you will be a great team player and take pride in your work, making sure that high standards are maintained. You will be a strong communicator and enjoy taking on new challenges.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Prepare and assist with the loading and unloading of plant and equipment
  • Ensure plant maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the defect tracker sheet
  • Servicing of machines when their set operating hours have been met
  • Assist with any maintenance and repair requirements that occur on site
  • Perform machine safety checks to ensure full working order
  • Submit sign off sheet to the Yard Manager upon completion of any repairs
  • Take photos of damaged plant received and submit to the Yard Manager
  • Ensure all necessary parts are ordered as required through supplier or Yard Manager
  • Ensure every machine is in the best possible condition to send out to site to ensure the Company is reflected in a positive light

GENERAL COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Personal and team adherence to existing working practices, methods and procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and respond positively to new and alternative systems
  • Proactive approach to Health Safety and Environment and co-operate with the Company’s HSEQ Manager with relevant Health, Safety and Environment legislation, policies, and processes
