The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tailored plant health care programs to maintain the beauty of our clients' landscapes. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Conduct comprehensive on-site evaluations to accurately diagnose plant health issues, including the identification of common pests and diseases. Within a designated territory of 800 to 1,200 clients, you will implement Integrated Pest Management strategies by administering both preventative and corrective plant treatments. Operate a 300-gallon John Bean spray rig equipped with a 400-foot hose on a daily basis to execute annual maintenance plans for our clientele. Communicate professional recommendations and service details effectively to clients. Consistently deliver high-quality results by effectively collaborating with a team while also having the ability to work autonomously. Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant identification, common diseases, and insect pests. Requirements What You'll Bring (Qualifications) High School Diploma or equivalent A degree in horticulture or agricultural sciences is preferred, but not required. A strong aptitude for learning is essential; prior experience in horticulture or a related field is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic are a must. The ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator license (KS 3A/3B or MO 3) within the first three months of employment. Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
