We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Fulton Hogan HireBlue team as a plant hire coordinator in Christchurch. This is a customer facing role so you will continuously provide support and advice to your internal customers to ensure the kit they are receiving is suitable for the effective delivery of projects. In addition to the above you will: Get plant and equipment ready for hire. Deal with internal customers to ensure seamless delivery of hire equipment Liaise with the workshop to coordinate plant maintenance and repairs Use internal systems to accurately input sales dockets. Liaise with hiring companies to source plant that can’t be sourced internally. Transport small plant to site as and when required (e.g. generators, plate compactors). We’re looking for someone with: The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers A minimum Class 2 driver’s license (Class 4 and above preferred) WTR and F endorsements – or willing to get these Knowledgeable in construction related plant and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to problem solve. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A proactive attitude to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority!
