We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Plants and Landscaping Salesperson to join our growing team. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

· Customer Excellence: Welcome and advise customers, providing expert advice on plant selection, materials, planting, and landscaping services
· Sales & Business Development: Generate leads, prepare detailed quotes, create compelling project proposals, and close sales effectively
· Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, managing inquiries, follow-ups, and service issues promptly
· Product Knowledge: Maintain current expertise in plant care, seasonal trends, and landscaping best practices
· Collaboration: Work closely with landscape designers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure seamless client satisfaction
· Visual Merchandising: Keep sales areas and product displays clean, organised, and visually appealing as well as plant health. What We’re Looking For:
· Proven sales experience, ideally within horticulture, landscaping, or garden centre environments but this isn’t essential. A love of plants and gardening is essential.
· Strong knowledge of plants, landscape materials, and garden care practices
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
· Proficient with basic computer systems and EPOS systems

ROLE PREFERRED PREFERENCES

· Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape design, or related field
· PA1/PA6 Spraying Licence
As our location is semi rural, own transport is essential.
