POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Facilities & Maintenance in a Manufacturing plant environment.
  • Heavy industrial experience required including maintaining Electrical and Plant Systems.
  • Experience working with plant maintenance metrics – MTTR, MTBF, etc.
  • Extrusion or Plastics Processing Experience desired.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with eMaintenance, MP2 or similar maintenance-related software preferred.
    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $103,000 in our lowest market up to $126,500 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, direction and oversight within the maintenance department to ensure quality support services for the manufacture of material.
  • Inspect plant facilities or reviews inspection reports to determine repairs, replacement or improvements required.
  • Enforces compliance of operations personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensures plant safety procedures are followed to promote personal safety and safety of others.
  • Directs activities of up to 20 skill trade workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings and grounds.
  • Direct and manages Maintenance Supervisor and Spares Coordinator.
  • Communicates daily issues and pertinent information to maintenance personnel and departmental managers as needed.
  • Manage a spare parts budget of $10MM, and manage a labor budget of $1MM+
  • Provides training to maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Ensure spare parts are available to support the running of the plant and machinery.
  • Leads and assists in the development of and implementation of capital projects related to plant and infrastructure and fabrication work.
  • Ensures that an ongoing infrastructure preventive maintenance schedule is being performed as agreed.
  • Ensure proper staffing of the department including recruitment and ongoing evaluation of employees.
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of available technology that benefits the operation of plant and machinery.
  • Develop effective relationships with vendors as required.
  • Coordinates the implementation of necessary work to meet environmental requirements and provides reporting and internal auditing of environmental compliance.
  • Understands and follows all company policies, practices and procedures.
