JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Technical & Production Specialist for our recently acquired bottling plant. This role is critical in supporting day-to-day operations, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bottling plant operations, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and process optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a bottling or beverage manufacturing plant.
  • Strong understanding of bottling machinery (e.g., rinsers, fillers, cappers, labelers).
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and basic automation controls is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site and be hands-on with equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues across bottling lines and plant equipment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and performance of machinery such as fillers, cappers, conveyors, labeling machines, and packaging units.
  • Work closely with the operations team to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process.
  • Implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards throughout the plant.
  • Support in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors or third-party service providers when required.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on machine performance, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Train plant staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical reports and recommendations to management for long-term improvements.
