We are an veteran leader in electronic waste recycling, proudly serving the industry for over 20 years. As part of our next phase of growth, we are launching a new processing facility and are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead this exciting initiative from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of site startup, equipment installation, and plant layout planning—while building and managing high-performing teams that will shape the future of e-waste processing in the region.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full setup and operation of the new recycling facility. This includes project managing the installation of machinery, collaborating on plant layout and production design, and ultimately leading all day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings strong production and leadership experience, ideally from the waste, recycling, or manufacturing sectors, with a hands-on approach to mechanical systems and process optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in production or de-manufacturing operations; experience in the recycling or waste industry is a must.
  • Proven experience in project managing facility builds, machinery installations, or process commissioning.
  • Mechanical aptitude or engineering background is a strong asset.
  • Experience optimizing plant layout and workflow for production efficiency.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and driving performance.
  • Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and operational compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Familiarity with MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) operations or e-waste-specific processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience a plus.
  • Experience with IMS, CMMS, or production tracking systems.
