Description The Juice Plant Manager coordinates all juice production activities, operations, and staff to support the KPIs and ensure safety, quality and production policy and procedure conformance. This position is responsible for organization, utilization, and inventory of inbound and outbound materials and product. The Plant Manager is responsible for keeping lines of communication open with the President/Board, Sales and Operations Manager, and Senior Leadership team for business cohesion. Responsibilities · Oversee food safety and quality control personnel to ensure quality product · Ensure continuous production flow and redirect employees to areas of need · Maintain safe working environment based on OSHA regulations · Provide leadership and direction to the production team to demonstrate responsible safety behavior, perform to quality standards and attain efficient work flow and productivity · Assist in maintaining production capacity through staffing, equipment and supply management · Maintain timely and accurate production documentation · Troubleshoot production process and equipment as needed · Work with Sales and Operations Manager to analyze, forecast and plan production objectives Requirements Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Education and experience High school or general education diploma (GED) and minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing production facilities required. Bachelor’s degree in production and at least five (5) years of related experience preferred. · Knowledge and understanding Manufacturing processes, human resource processes, quality systems and standards, OSHA and SQF compliance, best management practices, develop and track key performance indicators, business and financial principles. · Technology - demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software. Have working understanding of production equipment and required maintenance needs.
