POSITION OVERVIEW

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in the manufacturing processes. This role involves managing staff, optimizing production schedules, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the plant and ensure production targets are met.
  • Manage and lead a team of supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and monitor production schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and financial reports related to plant operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall plant performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and training programs for staff to enhance skills and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of shingles, roofing, or building materials is a plus.
