Description
This position is responsible for overall leadership and management of the Romanian Operations Network (RONet) manufacturing plants, consisting of two sites (Sarbi, Busag). It holds overall responsibility for leading plant teams in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals, whilst ensuring that customer value is central to decision-making. The role provides leadership to all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements, driving performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals, leveraging resources and motivating personnel to create a high performance culture. The leader understands the principles of a digital future, the Factory of the Future, the need for Industry 4.0 and its imperative going forward. A. Manages and directs all operations activities to ensure completion of customer requirements. B. Assesses performance indicators, and takes appropriate actions, to ensure schedule, cost and quality goals are met. C. Provides for prudent investment into training and development, capital equipment and technology development to ensure organizational, manufacturing, product and market leadership. D. Ensures policies, procedures, and other documentation are established to provide for consistent and professional operation of all organizational functions. E. Provides leadership and commitment in support of continious improvements in quality, productivity and delivery performance. F. Supports product design organization through new product introduction phase to ensure customer product development and manufacturing delivery times are met. H. Develops and maintains innovative and effective cost reduction programs throughout operations. I. Evaluates operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, job transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc. J. Develops budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance, to achieve product delivery and financial requirements. L. Drives and develops the capability in operations to ensure the achievement of a World Class and Model plant performance. M. Is setting the right attitude to develop an excellent Continues Improvement culture across the operation. N. Leads and contributes to CI initiatives and is a leader and facilitator in the adoption of appropriate I4.0 technologies. O. Leads the necessary Building Organizational Capability actions in oder to have a sufficient operational talent pool and succession planning in place. Bachelor's degree in technical field required, with a Master's degree preferred - Passion for and profund knowledge of continuous improvement - Strong ability to coach, develop & inspire multi site team members - Knowledge of financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions of operational changes - Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams - Multiple years of related professional and supervisory/managerial experience - Romanian and English language fluency is required - Management and leadership skills and social understanding - Knowledge of methods for effective and successful decisions - High understanding of proactive and effective relationship with the employee groups/works council and unions - Good relationship with the communities We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
