Pay Scale: Min $143,000 | Max $200,000
Location: Lithonia, GA
Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility including Employee Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Production, Warehousing, Maintenance, Engineering, Sanitation and GPS (Lean Manufacturing) activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
He/she will create an environment that promotes individual and team commitment to the achievement of the operating plan & the Company’s Purpose Driven Strategy, both strategically as well as tactically.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years’ manufacturing management experience.
  • Supply Chain, Lean and/or Six Sigma education is a plus.
  • Excellent managerial and supervisory skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; good listening skills; a team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the company and who is sensitive to cultural differences.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to calculate and understand business acumen.
  • Ability to solve practical problems dealing with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and change.
  • Customer relationship building skills to be a trusted advisor.
  • Attention to detail, well organized and able to solve problems.
  • Ability to manage time to complete multiple tasks by required deadlines.
  • People driven and motivates others to excel; ability to identify and develop leaders.
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Travel up to 20%.
