Job Description

ARE YOU A STRATEGIC LEADER WITH A PASSION FOR OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND A DRIVE TO DELIVER WORLD-CLASS MANUFACTURING PERFORMANCE?

Rotork is seeking an experienced and visionary Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Manchester with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be at the helm of a high-performing team, responsible for setting and achieving ambitious production targets while overseeing all aspects of plant operations - from production scheduling and material management to supply chain, purchasing, quality, HSE, and assembly/test functions.
In this pivotal role, you will champion a culture where safety is paramount, ensuring a healthy and well-maintained working environment that extends beyond our facilities to our vendors and customers. You’ll drive strategic planning and execution of manufacturing objectives aligned with sales forecasts, inventory needs, and capacity planning. Your leadership will be instrumental in coordinating major projects, optimising plant layout, and implementing capital improvements that support long-term business goals.
You’ll lead with data, using KPIs to track efficiency and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will also include budget planning, capital expenditure, salary reviews, and compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll foster cross-functional collaboration, mentor and develop talent, and ensure seamless integration between operations and other business units.
If you’re ready to make a significant impact in a global organisation that values innovation, accountability, and excellence, we invite you to bring your expertise to Rotork and help shape the future of our manufacturing success.
