POSITION SUMMARY:

The Plant Manager will lead the Operations team responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and on-time delivery of high-quality heat exchangers, products, and systems. This role requires relocation to Canton, SD, part of the greater Sioux Falls metropolitan area.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or a related technical field required; advanced technical or business degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing management.
  • 10+ years in an automotive or Tier 1 supplier manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proven skills in financial management, process management, and project management.

    Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Operations team, including manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance.
  • Maximize efficiency through the design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategies; allocate resources to meet quality, safety, cost, delivery, volume, and productivity goals.
  • Apply problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Support lean initiatives and foster a Lean culture throughout the organization.
  • Benchmark and establish performance metrics, collect and report results.
  • Manage budgets and personnel expenses, ensuring commitments are met by controlling cost, capital, inventory, and assets.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, laws, and regulations.
