Pelsis B&G Equipment is seeking a strong and commercially astute Site Leader to lead our Jackson, GA manufacturing facility. This role holds full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance at site level. As the senior leader and primary decision-maker for the plant, the Site Leader owns overall site performance, operationally, commercially, and culturally. The successful candidate will translate Group strategy into effective local execution, balancing short-term operational priorities with long-term capability, cost competitiveness, and performance improvement. Success in this role means delivering a safe, well-run plant with strong SQDIC performance, disciplined execution, and a leadership team that understands the commercial impact of their decisions. POSITION SUMMARY The Plant Manager will provide strategic leadership and hands-on management for the Jackson facility. This role is responsible for leading change, driving organizational turnaround, and ensuring seamless daily plant operations that improve productivity, safety, quality, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with the ability to manage complexity, inspire teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Own overall site performance, acting as the final decision-maker for operational, commercial, and people-related matters. * Lead and develop the site leadership team, setting clear direction, priorities, and accountability standards. * Ensure a safe, compliant, and well-controlled manufacturing operation where health, safety, and environmental standards are non-negotiable. * Own SQDIC performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost) and ensure consistent delivery of site targets. * Translate Group strategy into actionable site-level plans and execution. * Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable production performance across manufacturing operations. * Oversee maintenance, warehouse, and quality functions to ensure operational effectiveness. * Own site P&L performance, including cash management, cost control, and resource utilization. * Partner with Finance to manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term cost competitiveness. * Lead workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning in partnership with HR. * Promote proactive risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, constructive challenge, and effective conflict resolution. QUALIFICATIONS * Proven experience leading manufacturing or site operations with full end-to-end accountability. * Demonstrated ownership of P&L, cost, and cash within a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Strong understanding of SQDIC performance metrics and operational trade-offs. * Experience leading multi-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, warehouse). * Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems (e.g., MS Dynamics or similar). * Strong leadership presence with demonstrated decision-making and conflict resolution capability. * Preferred: * Experience in industrial manufacturing or FMCG environments. * Exposure to multi-site or international organizations. * Formal qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or operations (preferred but not required).
