POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Plant Manager with Procurement Responsibilities to oversee daily operations at our food trailer manufacturing facility. This hybrid role requires a strong leader who can manage plant activities—including production scheduling, team supervision, and quality control—while also leading all procurement and supply chain functions to ensure materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing plant management, preferably in custom fabrication or trailer production.
• Solid experience in procurement or supply chain management, with vendor negotiation and inventory control expertise.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of fabrication, welding, assembly, and trailer-specific manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing software (ERP/MRP systems) and inventory management tools.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and lean manufacturing principles.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in the trailer, mobile kitchen, or specialty vehicle industry.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and trailer industry standards.
