Description
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage daily operations of the automotive manufacturing plant. - Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation. - Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to optimize processes. - Recruit, train, and develop plant staff; foster a culture of accountability and teamwork. - Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed. - Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred). - 8+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of managing plant operations and achieving performance targets. - Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software. Preferred Skills: - Experience with ICE vehicle assembly & electric vehicle (EV) production or advanced automotive technologies. - Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other industry standards. - Multilingual capabilities (especially if managing international teams or suppliers).
