JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Plant Manager with a metal fabrication background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. You will play a crucial role in optimizing production operations, managing resources, leading a team to achieve production goals, while fostering a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a management role within a metal fabrication environment.
  • Welder Red Seal certification is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to successfully engage and motivate a team to facilitate success.
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior knowledge of safety regulations, and experience implementing safety programs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight and changing deadlines.
  • Experience with CWB procedures
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • ISO9001 experience.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
